Living in Harmony....

No, I'm not being cheesy, we are actually living in Harmony! We've been here 6 days now and are finally starting to get unpacked and setteled in. The kids love it here, they have lots of neighbor kids to play with and when they switch schools next year it will be even better since we are right across from the K-8 school. I can't get over how friendly the neighbors are, they've been coming by to introduce themselves and one even brought us homemade cookies!

October Already?

This year has flown by! Football and cheer are winding up....only one more game next week. Cooper's team is going to be playing in a exhibition game at the end of the month and Baylee has a cheer exhibition in two weeks. Gymnastics has started up again and as soon as football is over with Cooper will add wrestling to his after school activities. Baylee is wanting to start doing either tennis or golf. We'll be moving to Harmony at the end of the month so maybe she can take up golf...maybe I'll take up golf too....

We just celebrated Adam's birthday this week.... Harper insisted Daddy wanted birthday hats. Publix was having kid night Friday night so while Adam and Cooper were at gymnastics the girls and I went shopping and had lots of fun. They had a scavenger hunt, cup cake decorating, free samples and hot ops with the Publix dinosaur.

This past week Harper and Baylee went with me to a local assisted living for a senior citizen talent show. Baylee even helped judge. The girls had a really great night there, Baylee took her judging job a little too seriously though...she gave some poor woman and her dog a 2/10. The highlight of the night was watching a 101 year old woman sing God Bless America. Harper is too cute she calls all the old people "grandma's and grandpa's"

Here's some pictures from the last couple of weeks:

For the game against St. Cloud Harper wanted to wear her cheerleader uniform:

Harper and Cooper (he started as QB for the St. Cloud game)

Haper and the St. Cloud Bulldog...she was scared of the Harmony Longhorn

Harper with Tristan and Josh....she's been all about hanging out with them at the games...

Harper with Malachi...so nice of Damon to come out and watch Cooper play

Cooper and Samantha...it was so sweet of her to come to his game, even if he was too embarrassed to get his picture made with her. It really meant a lot to him that she was there, and that she gave him a shout out. He kept asking me "mom did you hear my shout out from Samantha?"

Anthony and Adam getting Cooper dressed. It's a lot of work to get into all that football gear

Harper at the Senior's Got Talent show...she thought she was super cool drinking water out of a wine glass

Sweet tooth Harper had to make her's herself...she had white frosting...

Then some yellow....

Then some orange....

Then some sprinkles....

All Done...

Baylee did the scavenger hunt and got a name badge when she turned it in. Being the awesome big sister that she is, she put Harper's name on the name badge. Harper LOVED it! She loves anything with her name on it!

Friday 9/16....cause I can't think of a catchier title....

We're still staying super busy with football and cheer, practice 3 nights a week and games on Saturday morning. Seems like our entire weekend is devoted to football, in fact Adam and the big kids are at the Harmony high school game tonight. Peanut and I are staying in catching up on some old school 90210. Tomorrow is the big game against the Bulldogs, Cooper is starting as quarterback the first half so that should be interesting. Later in the day is another big game...ND vs Michigan State, man I hope we can get an upset with that one...sure would make Adam a happy guy. We've decided to put off our relocation to Knoxville until the end of next school year. We want Cooper to get to finish off his Tiny Mite career as a Longhorn, which is only fair considering all the time and energy he and Adam have put into it.

Not a lot else happening this week. I've been sick with a cold/sinus thing and missed 3 days of work...I'm sure I'll pay for it next week. I've been pinning like crazy! Got lots of ideas for Christmas and Harper's candy party.

Here are some of my favorite photo's we've taken lately:

Finally Football Season!<~~~ That's for Adam

Well tonight is the first NFL game of the season, I think Adam was so worried there wasn't gonna be a season that's he's just happy to watch anyone play tonight. I love this time of year when we're all about football from Thursday night to Tuesday morning!

The kids are getting into the grove of being back in school. This week Cooper has had swimming and loves it. Baylee is doing super good, bringing home a 100 on her first math test and 105 on her first spelling test...I have no idea where she get's her spelling smarts from. Adam and Harper have stayed busy this week helping with Cooper's swimming classes and doing a toddler class with Aunt Amy and Malachi.

We still have football and cheer practice 3 nights a week and games on Saturday morning so our weeks are staying pretty full. I'm still completely addicted to Pinterest so that's still sucking up a lot of my time....

We've got so much going on and so much coming up, this is going to be a very busy fall!

Hello Longhorn Football and Cheer!

Yesterday Baylee and Cooper had their first football game of the year...the jamboree. We had to get up super early to be at Montverde by 8. I still can't get used to doing football and cheerleading when it's so hot out. Cooper's team did great and Baylee did an awesome job cheering despite it being about 100 degrees out.

After the game we did some shopping and got ready for a sleepover. Cydney, Carissa, Josh and Tristan came over and spent the night. We had the best time! For dessert we made the best thing ever: chocolate chip cookie dough with Oreo's on top and brownie batter on top of that baked and served warm with ice cream!!!

Long Time No Blog....

Well we've been home from the most awesome vacation ever for about a month now. After two weeks away it sure was nice to come back home (and to a clean house) but this house is starting to feel no quite like home anymore. Why? You may ask, because we have decided that we want to move to Knoxville sometime in the next 6 months. Which is perfect because my awesome hospital just bought 7 hospitals in Knoxville and the surrounding area.

Vacation was great! We left FL about 1:00 on Saturday morning and since we had two weeks ahead of us we took our time getting to VA, we actually stopped at a few stores in the Charlotte/Statesville area which we've never done before since we normally go through there about 4am or about 11pm on the way back. The kids were supper excited to get to VA and get to walk around on the grass with their shoes off! Cooper discovered the tree and we spent the next few days trying to keep him out of it:

The kids also enjoyed catching lightening bugs. Of all three kids COOPER was scarred of them at first, he didn't want to touch them! But by the time we left he got pretty good at it. We played in the creek, which was cold! Cooper caught a crawdad, and said "look, I got a baby lobster"...oh my Florida boy! The kids also got to spend time with their cousins, Baylee couldn't wait to see Gabby, Harper wanted to play with Aubree and Cooper kept asking for Brody and his big cousin Matthew! We were there for the 4th of July too. Big thanks to David and Marcy for letting us come over and watch the fireworks, we had a great time and a pretty awesome view!

We left VA Wednesday morning and made our way to the Great Smoky Mountains...of course even with the GPS we took a few wrong turns or as I like to think of it....the scenic route! The time we spent in Gatlinburg and the mountains around it was just awesome. We did lots and lots of fun things! We hiked to a waterfall, went to a music show, went to Dollywood, done ziplining, played in the river, saw a momma bear and 3 cubs, went to Cade's Cove, and did some gem mining (twice). Since I don't want to go overboard with the pictures, I'll share some of my favorite:

Baylee ziplining, I'm so proud of her! She's kind of a scaredy cat so this was a big accomplishment for her:

Cooper ziplining, he's not really scared of anything so he really enjoyed himself!

Baylee wanted to eat at Dick's Last Resort! We all had so much fun reading everyone's hats:

Back To Reality...

Well our West Palm Beach vacation has come and gone... on Tuesday we just hung out by the pool and beach. That night they had a dj, he was playing a Justin Bieber song and we were in the pool and Harper flipped out because she thought Justin Bieber was actually there, and she REALLY wanted to see him. So Baylee and Carissa took her over to where the dancing was so she could see that he wasn't there. Poor Harper, she loves her some Justin Bieber. The girls spent the next 2 hours dancing though. It was Baylee's favorite part of the trip:

When all fails...do the robot:

Wednesday morning we got up early, the kids swam some at the pool then we headed home! We stopped at one of Adam's favorite restaurants, Duffy's, for lunch. Lucky for us it was "kids eat free day". When we got home we relaxed for the rest of the evening. I mentally prepared for going back to work today and it ended up being a pretty good day! I'm super lucky to have an amazing staff who kept everything together while I was away!

Now it's countdown time for the next vacation: 8 sleeps until VA and the Smokey Mountains!!

Happy Birthday Baylee!!

Today was Baylee's 9th birthday! Can't believe how fast she is growing up, we're so proud of her and how great she is. Even though I hate that she's growing it's awesome to watch her become such a sweet, smart, and special young woman.

We had a pretty fun day today in West Palm Beach too. Baylee got special cinnamon rolls for breakfast then we headed to Peanut Island...well all of us except for Peanut. She stayed with grandma and played with Malachi. Peanut Island was a lot of fun, and the ferry ride over was neat. I really enjoyed snorkeling and seeing all the little fish, we're definitely gonna be doing more of that. Baylee and Cooper are getting pretty good at it too. Then we came back and did some more snorkeling at the beach here and some swimming in the pool. They had a dance off for the kids here, Cooper broke out his robot and sprinkler moves and won!!!

This evening we went out to eat with the Ortiz and Deskin families then we came back and had cupcakes and cheesecake for Baylee's birthday. She was super happy with the guitar we got her, even if Harper did tell her about it last week. Tonight Cydney and Carissa are spending the night with Baylee...the perfect ending to her 9th birthday!

Only 2 more days of this vacation left....

Trip Report Day Two and Father's Day!!

Happy Father's Day to my dad and to my hubby! Had an awesome day today, slept late and woke up and sat on the balcony and watched the ocean for a few minutes. The kids were super excited to give daddy the Father's Day craft they made him:

We spent the day lounging around the pool and the beach. The kids played bingo and did a hula hoop contest (see photo's here). Cooper has become a snorkeling fool! Baylee is getting super excited about her birthday tomorrow. I can not believe my baby is almost 9!

My favorite photo of the day :

Cooper said "oh no here comes the meltdown" and boy did she ever meltdown! She just hates to loose at putt putt!
