Family Fun Day

This past Saturday we had Family Fun Day!!! That included a little shopping (what fun day doesn't), some eating out, The Avengers movie, bowling AND watching a movie together that night at home! All the kids liked The Avengers, the biggest kid (Adam) liked it the most! Harper was a little scared of previews before the movie, but it was nothing a little lot of  popcorn couldn't cure.

Cooper looks like a demon rocker

After the movie we went bowling, the AMF summer bowl program is good on the weekend too this year. The kids love to bowl, Cooper's even pretty good at it (surprise, surprise).

Beautiful Baylee

what a handsome little man!

The kids are getting excited for summer break! A few days ago we made a summer vacation chain count down. The kids thought about their favorite summer memories and we put them on the inside and every night we pull one off and talk about it.

We rounded out the weekend with a little pool time. Harper has turned into quite a little swimmer, or Harper Fish as she likes to be called when she's swimming.

Cooper perfected jumping off the diving board and landing in the green tube...all with a flip thrown in:

Mother's Day Weekend!

I spent my Mother's Day weekend in the most obvious of places....a wrestling tournament. The Florida State Wrestling Tournament to be exact! It couldn't have been a better weekend, really enjoyed the time with Adam and the kids and our friends! We had to go to Lakeland for this tournament so we spent the weekend in the Hyatt, which was quite nice. Cooper did great, he came in first in folk, 2nd in greco, 3rd in freestyle. He was really really upset about getting 3rd place but we hope that will make him work harder and it's a good lesson to learn that he's not the best at everything and needs to practice to get better just like everybody else! This is our last tournament for a few weeks, which is good cause Cooper needs the break (so do I).

We had a lot of fun eating out and hanging out with the Duncan's and Heaps too!

Beginning of May Events....

The beginning of May was pretty low key for us. Cooper had a wrestling tournament, the Father Devine tournament, that one was really tough. He got 2nd in greco. He could have went to Atlanta to wrestle for the National Team on Memorial Day weekend, but we're skipping that! He's just not ready.

The girls have been staying busy with gymnastics and cheerleading. Harper got a special VIP invite to try out for the gymnastics team, that's coming up next week. Baylee joined the competitive cheer team at the gym so that's gonna take up a lot of her time. Baylee and Harper both went to a cheer workshop. The girls and I also went to play bingo at my work for Relay for Life. That was a lot of fun! They won some awesome prizes, even $15! What a great way to raise money for an important cause. Cooper went with Adam that night to watch the NFL draft. While the girls were at cheer clinic me and the boys went to the Spirit Farm and feed the goats and donkey's, we even got to green beans!

We've all been sick over the past two weeks. I thought we were finally getting over it but school called today and Baylee had a temp of 102.3.

Last Thursday was the Mother's Day Tea at Cooper's school! It was soooo sweet and tons of fun!! Cooper even came to work with me and had lunch afterwards!
