Why Wrestling Of Course...

Wow, we've been doing a lot of wrestling tournaments lately! Had another this past weekend and Cooper came in 1st in Greco,  2nd in Folk and 3rd in Freestyle. Other than that we had a pretty quit rainy weekend. We went to a new church on Sunday, Canoe Creek Christian Church and had a great time, after that we had lunch with the Haskett's then I had a nap...the perfect Sunday: church, lunch and nap!

Harper's BIG week!!

Harper had a big week! She was finally able after waiting for what seemed liked forever (to her) to meet her cousin Briella Grace! I've never seen a prouder cousin! She's all Harper's been able to talk about.  Then later in the week I was cleaning the kitchen and heard Harper yelling outside "mommy! mommy! Look at me!" I ran outside and there was my little peanut riding her friends bike WITH NO TRAINING WHEELS!!! My little girl is growing up so fast!

3:14:12 Dark Sky Festival and Wrestling Tournament

Saturday April 14th was a busy day!! Baylee had a cheerleading workshop at Squeeze Center and Cooper had a wrestling tournament in Lakeland! So Adam and Cooper headed to Lakeland and me and the girls went to cheer! Actually me and Harp just dropped Baylee off....she wouldn't let us stay to watch. She did great though, and had tons of fun, she got moved up with the 11-18yr old girls and since she was the smallest she got to be the flyer. Sadly I have no pictures since she banned me!

Cooper did great at wrestling. He got 2nd in Greco, 3rd in Folk and 3rd in Freestyle.

Before the the tournament the guys stopped in at Mc Donald's for breakfast, Cooper does anything to get a laugh from the older boys!

After everyone got home we headed out to the Dark Sky Festival....even though it was super cloudy and you couldn't see any stars! We still had a good time!!

Also super proud of Baylee who made the honor roll at school this past 9 weeks! She's so smart and such a sweet sweet girl! We couldn't be more proud of what an amazing young woman she's turning into!

3rd Wrestling Tournament

On March 24th Cooper had another wrestling tournament! He did even better this time! He came in 1st in Freestyle, 2nd in Folk and 3rd in Greco! He was so happy and we were so proud of him!!!

Harper announced she was going "to work", wearing snow boots in 90 degree weather, with a dress tucked in her shorts, carrying one of my old Coach purses!

Spring Break!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Spring Break! It means I can see the end of the school year, no more homework, no more getting up early, no more bedtime fights....This year for spring break we went to Sarasota from the 16th-20th. The kids hadn't been to the gulf in years and couldn't remember the blue waters and white sand so they were super excited. We had a really nice relaxing little vacation, we didn't really do anything but go from the beach to the pool, we did some shopping, saw a pug parade, went on an awesome boat tour, and just relaxed and took a break from all the craziness that is our everyday life! Sorry for the picture bomb!

Cooper can hold his breath forever under water, look at what he found:

it was still alive, everyone around us had to come look at it and take pictures so Coop ended up in lots of peoples vacations photos

we did a boat tour, at the aquarium 

they drop a net and pull it up and the marine biologist on the boat talks about what they found, she passes everything around for all the kids to see

I highly recommend this boat tour...but I can't remember the name of the company
